What in the world is overlanding?
In the heart of man is a desire for the outdoors, a mandate to tame every creature and a dream conquer every mountain. There’s a reason for it; our need for nature is not there by mistake.
As long as man has inhabited the Earth he has needed nature, needed adventure and excitement; it’s woven into the fabric of our hearts. It’s part of God’s grand design.
God made the earth, and God made the waters and the sky, and God made the fish, and the birds, and every living thing on Earth, and then God set man on the Earth to subdue it.
“…Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground “ (Gen. 1 : 28), and God set man in a garden to work and take care of His creation (Gen. 2 : 15).
Man needs nature, and Overlanding is an accessible and fulfilling way to experience it!
Overlanding is equipping your vehicle with everything you need to survive “off the grid”. If you want to see things others don’t see you have to be willing to do things others won’t do.
Overlanding is all about breaking away from the monotony of this industrialized, modern world; it’s about stepping away from the clutter and confusion so we can recharge and focus on higher things. Many find overlanding is a sort of reset for our human heart.
At Overland Apologetics our mission is to teach men to defend their faith in Christ the Lord.
During any one of our Overlanding journeys were going to dive deep into the word of God, and help you to take your next step in critically evaluating your trust in Christ.
We provide training in theology, philosophy and science. Our goal is for students to be able to match their faith with their observations of science and rational thinking.
Our goal is to stoke the fire in the hearts of believers. We encourage and equip Christians to be the salt and light in their homes, schools, churches— every aspect of culture across the globe.
